Meet the Founder
Growing Minds British Academy was founded by Joy Bianchini, a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and an accomplished educator with over 25 years of experience in International British National Curriculum schools. Joy has taught across the UK, USA, Asia, and the Middle East, giving her extensive insight into the academic and developmental expectations of British international school settings — from EYFS through to Key Stage 2.
In addition to her professional expertise, Joy is also a parent of two children who were educated in British International schools and are now studying in the UK. This dual perspective — as both an educator and a parent — enables her to understand the hopes, challenges, and practical needs of families navigating global education.
Through Growing Minds British Academy, Joy combines her professional knowledge and personal experience to guide and support children and families with empathy, clarity, and proven results.
